We have the cutest, sweetest, fluffy fur-balls of love at the farm.
I can't believe this is the first time I have shown them off.
This is the girl.
and there are two little orange boys.
We wuv them.
It wouldn't be August if we didn't attend
Riverboat Days in Yankton, SD.
Enjoying the day and the Missouri River views.
and more shopping.
I loved these yarn bowls.
There was also - as always - pleanty of eating
I have been working with the dried herbs.
I know I promised to tell you what I do with the red clover.
After it is dried, we crumble it to separate it from the blossom.
Some will be stored like this and used for tea.
Some will be used as a pretty additive/exfoliant
in our Red Clover Tea scented Goat's Milk Soap.
And some will be used to make a red clover tincture.
I will tell you more about the tinctures in a post real soon
plus the health benefits of red clover.
I also hope to post about uses for calendula petals.
p.s. want a kitty?
