I am not bound for any public place, but for ground of my own where I have planted vines and orchard trees, and in the heat of the day climbed up into the healing shadow of the woods. Better than any argument is to rise at dawn and pick dew-wet red berries in a cup. ~Wendell Berry

Amish school house.
Temperature without strong south wind windchill factor -
Please tell me the school house is to the right and not the little red building! It's snowing here, just enough to be pretty and not cause any real problems-gotta love that. Happy Weekend:@)

Brrrr! I just finished reading a book about the Amish. It was fiction. But I enjoyed it. I love your picture!
Cold for the kids and the horses. I hope that is a nice warm barn next to the school house.
love it

They are tough... I need to stop complaining about the cold
Hope their transportation was snug in that little shed you show.
Oh my goodness, you are not kidding. We're at 0 here, and I can't stand it.
I really like your pictures. There's something I haven't seen before.

Cold enough going to work in a car in these temps! I'll pass on the buggy for now.:)
Well at least they can't speed.
