Ahead of the Game

Every evening after the chores are done and the kitchen is cleared and the dogs are settled with their bones, I work at my second job.  Amazing progress can be made by dedicating a few hours each day to the business.  It feels great to be on top of things.  Inventory is growing and I am getting much more organized.  I am stocked up on supplies and labels and have had some time to start on a new product.

I cherish these cold winter days when I am not called outdoors on weekends and I can get in some good computer time, at the house in town, when the girls have to be in town to cheer at games and tournaments.  I have worked out some of the glitches on the website and added a shopping cart.  This was no easy feat – let me tell you.  The hours I spent working on this really helped me get to know the ins and outs of my website software and now there is lots more I can do to improve the site.
All I need is time.

Then – I did something else I have been wanting to do – I made a blog button.

I also set up an etsy store – but it is lost out there somewhere.  I will have to start over.  Multiple user accounts in etsy can be a problem.

My goal is to stay ahead of the game.  Nothing more stressful to me than having a business and hoping I don’t get any orders – because I just don’t have time for it.  More importantly is that I really do like making and selling the products.  And as long as that is the case, I don’t mind taking the time for it.

I hope to find a balance soon - my yoga mat is calling to me
and that would be just balance I need.
I think I will take tonight off and heed its call.

On the outside – it has been foggy.

I can live with fog

Not just a day here and there.

But I could live with it if I had to.

I love how it closes in on me.

I find incredible comfort in it.

Now I am off to see what you have been up to.

Nothing cures stress like organization, but for me that takes will-power.

Yep, take some time for your yoga and unwind a bit. We all need to do that occasionally.
