When I posted about finding a baby possum in our shop,
a few followers told me I should get rid of it now, rather than later.
Since Rylee was the one to discover it
I told her she should put out a trap
and use cat food for bait.
She was happy to do that
and even named the baby possum
she hoped to catch.
Two days later...
meet Ronald.
At first we thought him cute.
He reminded us of Sophie
our pet chinchilla.
Then Willow came into the picture
and Ronald wasn't so cute anymore.
Bye-bye Ronald.
Happy...whatever it is you do...slowly.

that picture w/ willow is hilarious!
glad you relocated him now. it was only gonna get worse...
I agree about the photo with Willow. She is a cutie pie.
Yikes!!! I didn't find Ronald as cute as Willow.
I have to tell you my sister had a baby possum one winter that decided to live on the porch with her cats. it would hiss at anyone but her that came out on the porch. Luckily in the spring it moved on. Love the picture with Willow!
I'm sure he'll be very happy... in some other part of town:@)
Willow "coming into the picture" is too funny! Ronald did look cute in the first picture...not so much when he started hissing! Glad he is moving on!
LMAO that pic of Willow is soooo funny! Hope Ronald enjoys his new home.
I found one in our coop when we lived on the other farm and it had done some extensive damage. I'm glad Ronald was returned back from whence he came! :)
Thank you for sharing at Rural Thursdays this week, Michaele.
That picture of Willow is amazing! I'd frame it. Great catch!!!
Thanks for the smiles today!!!
I had to laugh out loud when I saw the photo of Willow and Ronald. I love it - it was perfect.
Thanks for the smile!

Brilliant set of photos! They scare me, but I'll admit that first photo of him is very cute.
Love it! Adios, Ronald. Enjoy your possum filled days of possumness.
From time to time we have possums and they are quite bold. Not really very cute. Hope you let him go far from your farm. They do a lot of damage under houses.
Haha! We love the Willow photo!
Um, yeah, Ronald's unpleasantness makes him much less cute.
Willow is like- "oh yeah- your outta here!"
Having raised a possum and having tried to tame one the age of Ronald, I know you did the best thing.
Possums are good pets, if you can get them young enough...like out of the pouch young.
Great photos.
Glad u set him free
I got such a laugh out of Willow/possum photo! I bet you factored your post all around the photo. It certainly needs a caption all its own. It speaks a million things! I LOVE IT!
Baby Ronald is going to be much happier back in the great outdoor! :-) Thanks for setting the little critter free.
Oh yuck....they're cute till they open those big snarly mouths of theirs! I think I have one taking eggs from the coop...found a plastic egg way out in the chicken run and it was in one of the nesting boxes the night before. And I close the coop at night! The chinchilla is sure cute :)
