As It Should Be

I used to take the baby goats away from mom
at birth.

I would milk the moms
twice a day.

And feed the babies four times a day.

So you must know

how enamored I am

at the sight

of this.

Well, you know I like it! Here's the million dollar question, though. What made you change your mind?

Inquiring minds and all that...

How sweet these pictures are. Must be even sweeter to be right there. Who said animals don't have feeling. I can see it right here. What wonderful pictures.

It's like when the hens raise their own chicks -- it's a wonderful thing. :)

When we breed Bella you are going to have to help me. I want to milk her but I don't want to take her babies away. Especially after looking at these pictures!

Michaele--

Yes, there was a lot of fluid. Pretty gross. I don't know what it all was, but it was obvious it was squishing his lungs and he couldn't get enough air--hence the lovely blue tinge. EW!

And you are so right about the email adress--sorry! chickenscratchacres@gmail.com

Take care of yourself!

I am a big fan of letting the moms raise their own babies, when they will, the stinkers! LOL!!
