I embrace this time of year.
The season of anticipation.
Too early to plant, too early to mow,
or weed or water.
The heater isn't coming on every 5 minutes
and neither is the air conditioner.
The bugs aren't a problem yet.
And sunscreen isn't required.
I know in another month
the real work will begin.
For now,
we wait, and plan.
We take our time and enjoy the warming days.
We let the goats out for longer and longer each day.
And they get worse and worse about
getting put back up.
"Come on girls,
time to go".
Sage. . .
Saaaage (singing voice)
Sage-me Page-me (nick name)
Sage. . .
COME ON
Can you blame them?
(sigh)
