Snowy Day Art

The farm got a couple inches of really pretty snow this week.
The animals weren't real excited about it, but they were very glad to see me.

Here we are, the end of February, and I have not had enough snow days
to hunker down and spin wool or do any needle felting projects.
Why is it that something I love so much, is always at the bottom
of the list?

Well, today I stole.
I stole time from cleaning, soap and lotion making,
exercising, shopping, chores, laundry, cooking and blogging (gasp).
With that stolen time,
I felted,
and it felted good  : 0)

p.s. I did not steal time from the girls, as they were at a slumber party, and I did not steal time from reading, because I had a book-on-tape.

I'm so glad you were able to steal some time for the things you wanted to do. I need to shave some cat mats today and clean up the house! If I'm lucky ;-)

Wonderful Michaele that you stole some time for yourself--that's IMPORTANT!! Love the video-really makes me want to try some more-I have one ball and a little plain mat I made years ago. I have about 6 bags of wool from my beautiful Shetlands I had years ago! You inspire me-love the pieces you and the girls did! Have a great weekend!

You are so creative! It blows my mind. I would never in a hundred years have thought of doing this (or discovered it). I love the picture of the farm with the sheep. -- and that Van Gogh is nice too.

Love those farm scenes! The sheep was a necessity! Good for you in stealing a little time! Now I need to add this to my "want to-do" projects list! There is just never enough time is there?

Sometimes, in order to stay sane, you just have to put every thing else aside and do something you LOVE!
