Do you want to be able to tolerate sitting for long periods of time? Do yoga.
Do you want to tone your entire body without using weights or equipment? Do yoga.
Do you want to be able to move, bend and twist when you need to? Do yoga.
Do you want to move toxins from your major organs? Do yoga.
Do you want as much energy at the end of the work day as you have at the start of the day? Do yoga.
Do you want to stand taller, breathe deeper, and be more positive? Do yoga.
Do you want to kick-start a healthy diet and exercise regime? Do yoga.
For today – just for today – lie on the floor on your back. Relax and breathe.
When you are ready, bend your right knee and bring it to your chest and hold it there with your hands. Breathe. When you are ready, let it go and lay flat again. Then bend your left knee and bring your leg to your chest and hold it there. Breathe. Repeat 3 or 4 times with each leg.
Congratulations, you have done yoga. It’s that easy to start and feels that good. Imagine how much better it will feel to awaken, stretch and tone all the muscles of your body. Imagine…
I am very passionate about the benefits of mindfulness, the mind-body connection, yoga and meditation. I refrain everyday from sharing this on my blog and try to keep this this blog on topic as much as I can. But I just need an outlet. I am thinking of starting a new blog. I will let you know : )

So that's how you get your energy!!! I also do yoga daily. You mentioned reducing toxins from major organs. Yoga, particularly through deep breathing techniques, also improves our immune system! YAY, YOGA!!!
I would love to learn some basic beginners yoga. Can you recommend any beginner DVD's?
I think it's fine to mix it in w/ your blog. It's a blog of your life, right, and right now your life is filled w/ yoga :-)
I wish yoga would help me sleep. Maybe I need to try to do it more often. Right now I'm doing one session a week.
I would love to do yoga regularly and have tried it several times. I just don't have that stick-to-it attitude! Or just adult A.D.D.! I try to close my eyes to meditate and all I can think abut is 10 other things I should be doing. It is such a good thing, I think if you blogged about it, you would motivate me to do it!

I agree with everyone else, I would enjoy yoga postings right here on your "regular" blog. It would help others understand and get involved who might not necessarily visit a yoga blog. I would follow your yoga blog though if that is the way you decide to go! :)
I hope you might consider simply adding a yoga feature to this blog, I'd love to see it. Your blog is diverse and I think that's a part of your lifestyle, bring it on:@)

Yoga is fantastic, you are right. I should get back into the habit myself. It is SO good for everyone. And yes, it feels great and does all the things you say.

you are right about yoga...I used to take a class what a difference it makes...I need to start back...
I LOVE Yoga Michaele! When we lived in the city I took Yoga for over 2 years...I was never in better shape. Of course I was also working out on the machines and ...dare I admit it...I took belly dancing lessons! Yoga was my favorite though...I always felt so good when the class was over. I did take the classes again after moving to the farm but the 40 mile round trip 3 days a week became too much. OH I'm excited about this new blog you're thinking of :) I need to catch up so I'll be visiting in the morning. Have a wonderful Wednesday... Namaste! :)
