I am reading as the second pellet stove is being installed in the basement. This year I decided to have backup heat in almost every room...I think I am overreacting from the last two horrible winters...but Oh Well. Now all I need is the wood stove finished and I'm ready! LOVE this post..I know the feeling when the weatherman has been telling and telling. I go around and spread more straw..feed heavy grain and just sit and wait...

Wow! I suppose it's on its way here to Iowa. However, here in east central Iowa, it's just been rain.

Snow! We haven't had any yet, but I'm hoping for a first snowfall at Christmas! I'm so glad your goats and chickens have a nice barn, where they can keep out of the cold.

Am envious of your snowfall. We need some around here to brighten up the drab landscape.

Cute... no snow here yet. Think thats why I'm not in the Christmas spirit.

So you did get some! We got 7-8 inches. Very wet, but much needed.
