Girls Weekend

I got to spend three amazing "girls only" days
with all my daughters together,
in Yankton, SD for Riverboat Days.

My oldest daughter rented
what we thought was going to be a "cabin"
but what turned out to be a house.
We had a lot of fun in this
home-away-from-home.

We cooked,

and ate,

and played.

We saw the parade,

and people threw food at us.

Then we went to Arts In The Park.

And of course we ate

and ate.

We also went to a concert.

And the girls had to ride the go-carts
while we were that close.

And to think I kept wondering why the heck
I was so tired all the time
and why did my feet hurt so bad.

On the way home,
we stopped here, for one last photo.
Be still my heart.
I do SO love these awesome ladies!

Here are some of the sights and sounds of Riverboat Days 2011.
Y'all come next year okay?
