Chinese Noodle Beans

Did you ever grow something just for fun?

You know, buy the seed, till the ground, weed, water, work, worry
just for fun?

Nah, me neither.

(maybe next year we will try cooking them)

They are different! My 'for fun' item was little pumpkins a couple years ago. Little pumpkins, still large vines and leaves:@)

We always try one different thing or two.

I have never seen these...I am curious as to how they would taste.

Now those are some long beans! Curious about them.

Darn I was going to ask how they were. I can't get over the length.

ACK! I am so sad! I planted tons of these, with such high hopes of those curvy red noodles, but no a single one made it once it left the greenhouse! Next year, hoop house for them. Good for you!

What a strange looking bean! And you can actually eat it?...I'll wait and see what you say about that next year ;)
