River Walk

The girls I and braved the heat and humidity
and went on a river walk last night.

These are some of the things we saw.

The train blew it's horn for us  :  )

They will be gone for two weeks.
The first day is always the hardest for me.

Can't imagine what it's like for you to have all of your girls gone for that long. I hope you can find a way to indulge yourself while they are...a good time to recharge your batteries. :)

In that last picture, I would have pushed her in. I guess that comes with having 3 siblings....

I know you will miss them, but maybe it will be a good time to spend doing some things just for you. Have fun -- you deserve it Mom!

Love your photos of the walk with your girls. My kind of walk, for sure. :)

Beautiful walk... love the lil frogs. Love the pic with the heart fingers & "God" in them. Good luck & try to enjoy your alone time while the girls are away. I bet it is weird.

That is just my kind of walk. I would have been in hog heaven.

I remember as a kid growing up on the farm in Iowa finding those little bitty frogs. They were so cute!
Hang in there, the girls will be back before you know it!

Oh Michaele...I feel bad for you. Once that first day is over though I'm sure you'll be just fine. Before you know it the girls will be home and you'll be missing the peace and quiet ;) Na. I hope your weekend is a cooler one.

Thanks for the beautiful photos. Hope the girls have a good time! I can't imagine how tough it would be to have my kiddos gone for two weeks...but try to enjoy your time, too! Fill your time with things you love to do and people you love to spend time with--hopefully that will take the edge off!

What a great walk! I bet the house is quiet without them, but it's great to have animals to help with it some, isn't it? I was sooo glad I had a dog the first 4 years we were married and he worked summers from 8am til 11pm on the farm he managed. It got REALLY long, but my dog was constantly by my side, so I never felt alone. :)
