Not everywhere,
can a person do this.
can a person do this.
I have lived in towns
and in the country both,
and in the country both,
where we didn't dare.
Farms within 20 miles of us have to have water
piped from another town.
We have no treatment, no softener,
no filter and no need for them.
And yes, I do know just how lucky we are.

Yes, you are and I'm so glad for you. That water looks so good. The photos are wonderful! The way you captured the water is fantastic!
something so simple that we often take for granted. :)
Even growing up in the city, we still drank out of the hose... smells kinda funny today though:@)
Yes, you are lucky! We have well water but it has a lot of iron in it so we have to have a softner on ours. It works great though.
Have a Great Week!

We have fresh clean well water too although it requires a softener. When we first drilled our well, the boys asked us if we had to pay for the water. "No, that's God's water" we said, "and He has blessed us with it." We try to continue to think of it that way, knowing that it is free but not wasting any of it.
Yes yall are... I wouldnt drink our water, we have a filter on our fridge & thats the only place I get water from here. Beautiful pics.
Oh, yes! I so agree! We are blessed with good well water, and right now with the drought going on, nieghboring towns are seeing wells drying up. So I feel very blessed and keep hoping for rain!
Those pics made me super thirsty!
Awesome pictures...this makes me want to get a drink...lol We also have pure clean water from a well.
Now the water hose...have you checked what they are made out of? A friend of ours ,her son did a science project at Texas A&M on the use of waterhoses and drinking from them....Only use the White ones to drink out of..and some blue ones. The others are made out of toxic rubber.I don't even water my veg. garden with them anymore. The stuff that leaches out of them shocked us!!!!!Hey now have to print them on the hose packages...who reads them?

Lucky you for clean water. We HAVE to have a charcoal filter on ours and we LIVE in the country; but the farm across the road uses all kinds of junk on their fields, as do the neighbors whose run-off comes to us. Our nitrate levels were BAD, so we got a super expensive filter. I hate showering in it, even. I know it's seeping into my skin, the poisonous grossness. :S As I said, Lucky you!!!
You're VERY lucky! Growing up on the Red River in Manitoba in the 60's we drank from the hose all the time. Then for over 30 years while living in the mountains of British Columbia we drank right out of the streams (which really wasn't that smart) and the town water came right off the mountain into a huge holding tank on the side of the mountain. It had no 'treatment' for MANY MANY years. Here on our farm in Kansas we don't DARE drink out of our hose or our taps in the house...we have a water treatment system in the house that we use through a different 'tap'. I miss doing what you do. Enjoy!
Maura :)
