How Hot?

It's hot here.

Too hot.

Armpits need air.

Think I'll try out the pool.

Or not.

Silly chicken.

Pools are for ducks.

So, we want to know,
how hot is it where you are?

Can you believe yesterday was in the 70's and today in the 80's - we had a miracle for a couple of days. It's going back up to 90 tomorrow.

Ha, ha, love it! It's over 90 and feels every degree of it! Glad we got the yard mowed and hay picked up (that we baled last night) before it got this hot--time to hit to pool, I agree! http://homestead-for-sale.blogspot.com/

We've been blessed with low 80's and low humidity the last couple of days here in VA. But upper 90's and high humidity is forecast for the end of the week :(. I'm not much of a hot weather fan. I can put on enough the stay warm. I can't take off enough to stay cool.

84 at 7:00 this morning and will hit 100 today and for the next 7 days. Whew! I'm headed to the garden and to check on the chickens before it gets too hot to be out there. Stay cool, everyone!

Good Morning Michaele,
Oh goodness it's hot here in Kansas. It's not as hot as the 111 we hit just over a week ago but the 7 day forecast says it's going to be 105 for the next week. Our garden is struggling and we're going to till under about half of it because of bugs and grasshoppers. I think a raccoon has been taking advantage of our big Shep not being able to get into the chicken area which is next to the garden and has helped himself to our corn! I don't remember the last time we had rain...our well pressure has dropped and I need to water the lilac groves or we'll loose them in this heat. I've lived in Kansas for 11 years now and this Canadian born mountain woman is not liking this prolonged heat! We need rain! I hope you have a cooler week.
Maura :)
