I am not bound for any public place, but for ground of my own where I have planted vines and orchard trees, and in the heat of the day climbed up into the healing shadow of the woods. Better than any argument is to rise at dawn and pick dew-wet red berries in a cup. ~Wendell Berry
the one time I tried to grow peas, they never got more than an inch tall before turning yellow and that was it. I think they got over watered. Never tried lettuce before. But yours look all healthy and very "up." Glad your garden is coming along so well!
Oooo yay! Dontcha love watchin everything grow! My husband & I were just walkin the garden this evening checkin to see whats up, some of everything we planted is growin :) (I've got to get around to postin a blog about the garden!)
Lettuce....corn...zucchini and carrots so far. We planted really late this year because of the strange weather. I hope you didn't get any of this bad weather up there in Nebraska. Looking forward to seeing more of your garden ;) Have a great day. Maura :)
