I am not bound for any public place, but for ground of my own where I have planted vines and orchard trees, and in the heat of the day climbed up into the healing shadow of the woods. Better than any argument is to rise at dawn and pick dew-wet red berries in a cup. ~Wendell Berry

More Love
"The purity of a person's heart can be quickly measured by how they regard animals"
Ooooo, they are SOOO cute! Are you getting these? I LOVE tiny goats like those: I wish we could have kept ours IN the fence. My daughter misses them. Will you use these for milk? (Please, don't laugh: we had goats for so little time; I'm REALLY dumb about them!)
What a sweet photo! I too am debating about a couple goats --I love nubians but probably dwarf Nigerians would fit our tiny farm better. I'm worried about fencing--the thing we have discovered we are worst at!
This little goat here is a year old. She is not ours, we were just loving on her when we visited the farm where we will be getting our goats from when they are born. The goat's name is Kiss Me Kate and she was the gentlest animal I had ever been around. I can't even describe her. I just wanted to put her under my arm and carry her home.

Still debating whether to get these Nigerian Dwarf goats or Nubians. Both are dairy goats. I love 'em all!
Dear Michaele That is a beautiful photo and you are so right.

Hi Michaele
Beautiful words. Are these babies or full grown Nigerians?
