Girls Rooms Work

The girls dad was in town today so we wrangled him into helping us with some of the work in their rooms.

We put down underlayment in Rikki's room in preparation for tile.

We built a platform for Rylee's bed.

Rug Movers

Every time we come home we find our rugs all messed up. Now we know why.

Rupert showed up on the farm on Tuesday and has decided to stay on awhile.

He seems to have taken over the porch, but if you look like you might have some food, he will let you on too.

I have vowed this year not to buy any vegetable plants and to start everything from seed.






Since it is impossible to stay away from greenhouses and garden centers, we will limit ourselves to flowers.

Zink the Zebra

Zink is different from other zebras, including her brother Fink, because she has spots instead of stripes, but her parents reassure her that she is not weird.

Geese Migration over Northeast Nebraska

We were awestruck at the number of geese we saw today. We saw the first ones at 11:30 a.m. and continued to see them migrating in mass numbers up until dark.

All we could say was "how.....?"
