I was 18 and a child myself when you came into my life.

It was the 70's and I made all the mistakes.

But you never gave up on me.

You were literally my life line.

I find it hard to think of you as my baby.

Moreover, you were my friend, my pal, my mom,

my partner, and my right arm.

We shared clothes in the 90's.

We share recipes today.

You are such a beautiful person inside and out

and I have been in awe of you from the day you were born.

You truly have made my life worthwhile.
