I feel like I should apologize for this post.
This is the haunted house one of our neighbors has every year.
Quite a big deal. Radio station even comes.
It is horrible. And it isn't even dark yet. My choice of music didn't help.
But the girls begged me to come and take pictures.
So - here it is.
I am not bound for any public place, but for ground of my own where I have planted vines and orchard trees, and in the heat of the day climbed up into the healing shadow of the woods. Better than any argument is to rise at dawn and pick dew-wet red berries in a cup. ~Wendell Berry
